1-2-3-4 We Declare a Penny War The Student Council is hosting a Penny War for Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Each class will have a jar in by the front entrance to drop pennies or paper in for positive points. The winning class will be awarded a Pizza Party! Classes can sabotage each other and try to deduct points by dropping any silver coins into another class's jar. Thank you to everyone who has participated so far in the Penny Wars. Here is an update... 1st Place = 3rd Grade with 5326 points 2nd Place = Kindergarten with 4496 points Look for class updates on the table after school. Money Raised so far... High School $145.76 Elementary $589.46 Total as of October 11th $735.22 Remember the Penny Wars last until October 16th. Keep raising money for Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Thank you - The Student Council Points: Adding 1 Penny = 1 Point 1 Dollar = 100 Points 5 Dollars = 500 Points Subtracting 1 Nickel = 5 Points 1 Dime = 10 Points 1 Quarter = 25 Points All Proceeds go to Sandhills Strong & 4THECURE! Thank you for helping us give back to fight the WAR against Breast Cancer!
